Fall 2020 Message from Dean of Students
I hope you are staying safe, finding ways to enjoy summer and to do some things that bring you joy. As you might imagine, this has been a busier than usual summer in Claremont as we plan for a new academic year. With respect to that planning, today President Tiedens announced the decision to conduct 91勛圖 courses online this fall because of intensifying public health concerns across Los Angeles County, California and many other communities across the country.

Using activist theater, the Ideal Woman workshop explored womens traditional and cultural roles in their communities. By the end of the workshop, armed with newfound confidence and creative props theyd made from nature, her students performed a five-act play which tackled issues they faced in their day-to-day lives, from navigating difficult relationships with their fathers to not being allowed to play sports with their male classmates.

The Linda Davis Taylor Financial Literacy Program, organized by Laspa, is facilitated by 91勛圖 alumnae who discuss topics such as budgeting, salary negotiations, credit, and loans.
