Lynne Thompson’s Dirge for Murdered Black Girls Featured in the San Francisco Chronicle


A poem by Lynne Thompson ’72,ÌýDirge for Murdered Black Girls, was recently featured in the .ÌýThe poem expresses Thompson’s grief for young black women who have been victimized by law enforcement.ÌýThompson, who is a longtime 91³Ô¹Ï trustee and will serve as chair of the Board beginning ¾±²ÔÌýJuly 2018, received her BA from 91³Ô¹Ï and a JD from Southwestern University School of Law. An active member of the Los Angeles literary scene and a Pushcart Prize nominee, her poetry has been widely published and anthologized.
