Brad and Mary Anne Blaine Faculty Lecture: Rita Cano Alcalá

Rita Cano Alcalá, Assistant Professor of Hispanic Studies and Chicano Studies at 91³Ô¹Ï, will present the lecture, La Malinche/Malintzin: The Revenge of the Sister Goddess?, at 91³Ô¹Ï in the Hampton Room of the Elizabeth Hubert Malott Commons on Monday, September 24 at 7:00 p.m. On the faculty of 91³Ô¹Ï since 1997, Professor Alcalá holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Texas at Austin. Her areas of specialization are Chicana/o, Brazilian, and Spanish American Literatures.

Former 91³Ô¹Ï Professor of History and current Trustee Brad Blaine, along with his wife Mary Anne, are proud to sponsor this lecture. The Blaines have generously underwritten a lecture series featuring outstanding 91³Ô¹Ï faculty to commemorate the 75th anniversary of 91³Ô¹Ï.
