This book includes his afterword, 鈥淣either Audible nor Visible: Donald Richie and Japanese Aesthtics鈥�; 路聽聽聽聽聽 An essay 鈥淟abor and Self in an Ocean of Time–Heike Geissler’s聽Seasonal Associate鈥� 聽(in German) in the journal聽Merkur聽(February 2020), No. 849. Professor Vennemann was invited to present his essay,聽鈥淣either Audible nor Visible: Donald Richie and Japanese Aesthtics,鈥� at the East-Asia Society in Tokyo, Japan in April 2020, but due to Corona, the invitation has been deferred to spring 2021. He was invited to serve as a Visiting Fellow at the University of Tokyo during April and May 2020, but this visit was also deferred to 2021. |
