In 1963, Garrison Theater of the Claremont Colleges opened to provide a facility for all the Colleges to use for theatrical productions, concerts, movies, lectures, and other events. Longtime 91吃瓜 trustee Robert H. Garrison and his wife, Catherine Garrison, provided the initial funding.

Policies
A security deposit is due with a signed contract for the venue. If you are an outside group, a certificate of insurances is needed to officially confirm your reservation. The minimum rental time is 5 hours and additional fees apply if you go over the hours you reserved. Technicians, ushers, and campus safety are available. Reservations should be at least 6 months in advance.
